Club Rules and How-To's

Treat the Club with respect; this is your man cave away from home, so honor it as such. It's all of our responsibility to uphold member expectations and keep the club clean; please don't leave a mess. Everyone must leave prior to 2 am, with no exceptions. Patrons must pay BEFORE they pour a drink at the honor bar; it is up to the members to enforce this. Be accountable for your guests, young and old alike. Kids are always welcome at the club, but we don't have built-in child care, so please be aware of their actions.

We operate on an honor bar system, allowing members to access the club with an access card provided to all active members. Simply drop cash in the register and pour drinks for yourself and your guests. Please note that the Grunwald Club is a CASH-ONLY bar. As part of member expectations, you will receive an access card upon joining the club, but there is a $10 fee for any replacement cards.

No running tabs at this honor bar; you simply pay for each drink or round of drinks before you pour or serve. It sounds simple enough, but after a few drinks or when you're taking several orders, it's easy to forget to pay. This system only works if everyone meets the member expectations and pays for their drinks.

All liquor bottles and beer taps at our honor bar should be clearly labeled with the per-serving price to meet member expectations. A complete drink list with pricing is taped to the small fridge under the smaller bar TV. Or you can just click here! Specials (if available) will also be posted on the bar mirror.

The club's access card system will allow members to enjoy the honor bar from 6:00 am through 1:30 am, in accordance with our liquor license. All members are expected to leave the club no later than 2:00 am each day. Staying past 2 am could jeopardize our liquor license, so let's all meet member expectations and avoid that situation. Don't be that guy.

Members are encouraged to bring guests to the club, including friends, significant others, kids, etc. You are responsible for any non-members you bring in, and when you leave, they also have to leave. Additionally, you are responsible for pouring drinks for any non-member guests you bring into the club, as only members are allowed behind the bar—no exceptions! Please remember these member expectations when enjoying our honor bar.

Sorry guys, but to meet member expectations, we cannot allow pets in the club. Enjoy our honor bar instead!

If you are the last one leaving the bar, please turn off all lights and electronics, and cap the beer taps to prevent fruit flies from becoming an issue. Additionally, to meet member expectations, if the trash cans are more than half full or if there are any food leftovers in the can, please take the trash out.

The key to the dumpster lock is hanging under the small TV behind the bar. Be sure to lock the dumpster after use to meet our member expectations. Replacement trash bags can be found in the kitchen to the left as you walk in, near the honor bar.

The club offers WIFI under the hacker-proof name 'Grunwald Club'. Members can find the password posted on the board at the end of the bar under the clock, ensuring it meets member expectations for easy access. Additionally, we have an honor bar available for your convenience.

The DirecTV remote can turn on/off all TVs in the club, meeting member expectations for convenience. The Input button on the DirecTV remote will also work to adjust the input on all TVs in the club. 

The large TV behind the bar will dictate the sound on the receiver, ensuring that everyone enjoys their viewing experience. There are separate DirecTV boxes on the two large TVs and the one small TV in the bar area, allowing for different shows to be watched on all three. The two front TVs above the shuffleboard will mirror whatever the large bar TV is showing, maintaining a cohesive viewing atmosphere for the honor bar. 

Each of the four larger TVs has a Fire Stick attached. Remotes can be found behind the bar and are labeled for each TV. The main bar TV has logged-in access to ESPN+, Apple TV, Netflix, and Amazon Prime, which aligns with the diverse entertainment options expected by our members. The other Fire Sticks have mixed access to these apps, but please log in if you have personal access you're willing to share.

To select the TV audio, choose the LD/TV setting, which aligns with member expectations for an optimal experience. For Bluetooth connectivity, set it to Tape 1. The Bluetooth device is identified as B06+; remember to press the button on top of the Bluetooth device to connect. 

If you notice a hollow sound, simply press the silver-colored 'On/Off' button located under the display. Additionally, if a portion of the sound is lost, ensure that the Balance knob is turned all the way to the left (L5), which is an essential part of maintaining a quality honor bar for audio settings.
